I apologize to my wife and children- Man captured in viral AFCON video says

In the aftermath of Cote D’Ivoire’s shock win over Senegal in the 2023 AFCON, a man was caught on camera getting a bit too cozy with a lady who didn’t look too enthused about his advances amidst the celebrations.

The lady’s reaction to the man’s advances turned the short clip into a viral video on multiple online platforms as the AFCON continues to produce exciting results.

However, matters have taken a shocking turn for the man who donned an Ivorian jersey in the video who has been identified as Anselme Santos.

Reacting to the viral video, Santos has apologized for his actions to his wife and children while confessing he asked for the lady’s number during the celebrations.

“In the euphoria, I told [the woman in the video] ‘give me your number’. It wasn’t mean, but she didn’t want to. So I didn’t insist. I would like to take this chance to apologise to my wife and my children” he said according to ActuFootAfrique.
