GhMediaHubAlhassan Sayibu Suhuyini, a Member of Parliament for the Tamale North Constituency and a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed his belief that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has no chance of becoming the President of Ghana due to his track record.
During an appearance on TV3’s New Day, Suhuyini criticized Dr. Bawumia’s ambition to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP), describing it as “nauseating.” He claimed that the Vice President’s own words have tarnished his reputation and made him an undesirable candidate.
The discussion arose in response to reports of branded pick-up vehicles being delivered as Dr. Bawumia prepares to announce his presidential bid. It has been reported that he has met with the Majority Caucus in Parliament to seek their support before officially announcing his candidacy.
Suhuyini argued that Dr. Bawumia is already discredited and lacks credibility as a politician, making him unfit to hold the highest office in the country. He referred to him as the “most discredited politician in the Fourth Republic.”
It’s important to note that the comments made by Suhuyini reflect his personal opinion and political perspective as a member of the opposing party.
