GhMediaHubThe National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Western Region has suspended some of its constituency executives in the Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency for allegedly hooting at the incumbent MP for the area, Kofi Arko Nokoe, during a recent visit by former President John Dramani Mahama.
The suspended executives, including the Chairman, Emmanuel Ennor Kwofie, have been accused of showing indiscipline.
According to sources, followers of the chairman’s wife, who wants to contest the upcoming parliamentary primaries, were in her T-shirts and hooted at the incumbent MP who was with the former president.
A circular had been issued cautioning that no parliamentary aspirant should be allowed to use the occasion to campaign for themselves.
The suspended chairman’s case will be referred to the Disciplinary Committee of the region for adjudication, and he has been directed to hand over all party properties in his care to the Regional Secretariat.
