The Ghana Education Service (GES) has suspended Kenneth Agbomodze, the headmaster of Fijai Senior High School in the Western Region, with immediate effect.
The suspension is due to allegations of collecting illegal fees in the school.
The GES statement, signed by the Head of Public Affairs Unit, Cassandra Ampofo Twum, stated that Mr. Agbomodze has been directed to hand over the school’s administration to the Western Regional Director of Education.
The suspension is temporary, and an investigative committee has been given two weeks to report its findings to the management.
