A man named Emmanuel, aged 35, has allegedly killed a one-and-a-half-year-old boy in Adankwame, Atwima Nwabiagya North District, Ashanti Region.
Reports indicate that he also inflicted machete wounds on the boy’s father and elder sister.
While it is unclear what triggered the attack, some neighbors suggest it may have been related to rent payment.
The suspect, who is also a landlord, was arrested by neighbors at his hideout a day after committing the crime on Saturday, May 6, 2023.
He is currently in police custody and is assisting with investigations.
